TONIGHT! The Motor Vu Drive-in in Idaho Falls celebrates the final night of the 2026 summer season with a FREE COMMUNITY NIGHT! Summer drive-in season is winding down, and you have THREE more nights of drive-in magic to enjoy in 2026! Here’s the rundown:

Thursday 8/20 and Friday, 8/21: come and see THE ODYSSEY on the largest outdoor screen in the country! This movie is an epic and nearly three hours, so come enjoy this single-feature on Thursday or Friday!

Saturday, 8/22: the movie CLUE is our FREE Community Night and end of season celebration!

We’ll be sharing more details about each night in separate posts throughout this week, but it’s going to be a great three nights of movies and fun.

Tickets are available NOW at www.idahomotorvu.com or at the box office when you arrive. You can get tickets for The Odyssey and the end-of-season Community Night on Saturday, 8/22.

As Eastern Idaho’s last remaining drive-in, we’re incredibly grateful for the support you’ve shown us throughout the 2026 season. From summer nights under the stars to movies on the big screen, it’s been another great season made possible by our community.

Thank you for continuing to believe in the magic of the drive-in and for making this place such a meaningful part of our community. We’re already looking ahead to summer 2027 and dreaming about all the memories still to come.

It’s Throwback Thursday TONIGHT at the Motor Vu Drive-in in Idaho Falls with Jurassic Park!

Admission is FREE on Throwback Thursdays! Gates open at 8 pm and the Throwback Thursday flick will begin 30 minutes after sunset. You can grab a free ticket online at www.idahomotorvu.com or at the gate.

The SNACK BAR will be OPEN, serving delicious popcorn, burgers, and more! Have you had our chips and dip? Ever tried our amazing grilled cheese?! As always, outside food and drink are not permitted without a fee and you keep the drive-in alive by enjoying our delicious food, and we get to feed you all the best snacks and treats!

Come out and see a great, free flick tonight! It looks like there may be some rain before the movie starts tonight, but it should be clear by showtime and we play movies rain or shine. It’s a perfect night to bring your Motor Vu sweatshirt and enjoy Jurassic Park on our HUGE screen!

There are TWO MORE summer drive-in weekends left this season - let’s get out to the drive-in! Come see the biggest hits of the summer this weekend: join us Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for TOY STORY 5 - back by popular demand! - the all new SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY. It’s a great summer movie pair.

Before the weekend begins, you have a chance to catch a Throwback Thursday flick. Come and see JURASSIC PARK this Thursday at the Motor Vu. Admission is FREE on Throwback Thursdays! Gates open at 8 pm and the Throwback Thursday flick will begin 30 minutes after sunset.

Tickets for Toy Story 5 and Spider-Man: Brand New Day (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) are available for purchase and free tickets for Throwback Thursday, are available online at www.idahomotorvu.com or at the box office when you arrive. We’ve got another BIG SCREEN BARGAIN NIGHT at the Motor Vu Drive-in in Idaho Falls. Tonight only - this your last chance to see Moana at the Motor Vu.

Adult tickets are $5 and kid tickets (age 4 - 12) are $2. Kids three and under are always free. Tickets available online at www.idahomotorvu.com or at the box office when you arrive. Gates open at 8 pm and the movie starts 30 minutes after sunset, at around 9:25 pm.

Our Big Screen Bargain Night is an excellent chance to see a new release movie at a great price at a historic drive-in theater. See you there!
