THE ODYSSEY opens Friday night at 7 pm at The Plaza. This is Christopher Nolan's first movie since Oppenheimer and is receiving massive critical reviews. We will be showing this exclusively for the first week in Theatre 3 upstairs. See our website or app for dates, times and ticket prices. We will be adjusting some of our start times to accommodate for the nearly 3 hour runtime. Rated R. Age restrictions will apply.

Christopher Nolan's epic fantasy film The Odyssey follows the Greek king Odysseus (Matt Damon) on his grueling 20-year journey home after the Trojan War. While he battles mythical creatures and angry gods at sea, his family in Ithaca fights off a group of arrogant suitors attempting to usurp his throne.

Based on Homer's ancient Greek epic poem, the film features legendary encounters with magical beings like the Sirens and the Cyclops. Rather than relying entirely on CGI, director Christopher Nolan grounds these outlandish, mythological elements in a terrifying, tangible reality. At its core, the film is not just a straightforward adventure movie, but a deeply human exploration of war trauma, the cost of greatness, and the primal drive to reunite with family.
