German movie star Mala Emde takes on the role of Vera Brandes—the visionary who organized Keith Jarrett’s legendary “Köln Concert” in 1975… at just 18 years old while still in high school. 🤯

Mala is an award-winning actress and producer, known for powerful performances including And Tomorrow the Entire World (2020), and her Bavarian TV Award-winning portrayal of Anne Frank. For Köln 75, she went deep—interviewing Vera Brandes herself and studying her personal archives to bring authenticity and heart to the role.
