This is exactly what we hoped would happen. ❤️

When we purchased the Historic Higginsville Davis Theatre, we had three simple goals:

🎬 Keep this historic theatre open for future generations.
❤️ Create a true community theatre where everyone feels welcome.
🏘️ Help bring more people to Higginsville so they can discover everything our amazing town has to offer.

Our dream has never been just about filling seats at the Davis. It’s about seeing every business in town welcome new faces through their doors. We want visitors to experience the restaurants, shops, local businesses, and friendly people that make Higginsville such a special place.

If you’re coming to a live music event or a movie at the Davis, come a little early. Walk around downtown. Grab a bite to eat. Visit our local businesses. You might just discover your new favorite place.

And to our fellow Higginsville businesses—please tag the Davis Theatre in your posts, and we’ll do our best to share and support you as well. When we work together, everyone benefits.

A heartfelt thank you to Zebco fishing Reels and the Flat River Band for helping keep the spirit of fishing alive in the next generation.

Watching the excitement on the faces of our young patrons as they received their first fishing pole was something truly special. Moments like these create memories that last a lifetime and inspire kids to get outdoors, make family memories, and discover a lifelong love of fishing.

Your generosity went far beyond a giveaway—it was an investment in our youth and our community. Thank you for making a difference and for helping make this event one our young guests will never forget. We are incredibly grateful for your support. 🎣❤️

What an incredible night at the Davis Theatre! ❤️🎶

We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Flat River Band for an unforgettable performance. Your talent, kindness, and energy filled our theatre, and we feel truly honored that you shared your music with Higginsville. We are so excited to watch “This Is How We Summer” climb the Billboard charts! If you haven’t downloaded it yet, make sure you add it to your summer playlist—you’ll be glad you did!

A special thank-you to the band and crew for being so patient and accommodating while we worked through the logistics of maneuvering a tour bus through the streets of downtown Higginsville. We are still learning as we grow our live entertainment events, and your understanding meant so much to us.

Thank you to the City of Higginsville for helping coordinate the bus connections, and to The Looney Bin Bar and Grill for providing drinks for the evening.

We are also incredibly grateful for our volunteers who stepped in to direct traffic, carry audio equipment, and help wherever they were needed. None of this would be possible without the amazing people behind the scenes.

We are still figuring all of this out, one event at a time, and we are so thankful for the support group that continues to coach us, encourage us, and jump in whenever we need help.

Nights like this would not be possible without the incredible people who continue to support the Davis Theatre. Thank you to everyone who attended, encouraged us, and helped behind the scenes to make this such a special evening. ❤️

Flat River Band, we hope this is only the beginning. We can’t wait to welcome you back to Higginsville someday!
