Midtown Cinema independent art house cinema, dedicated to enriching, connecting, and inspiring Harrisburg and Central PA through the art of film since 2001 Brown started.

Midtown Cinema was founded in November 2001 by Allen Brown and Todd Shill. For seven years, Mr. Brown brought the most innovative independent and foreign films to Harrisburg and Central PA. LIFT Development LLC now owns the Midtown Cinema and continues to expand on the vision Mr. The Midtown Cinema team:

In 2001, editor Marty Baron of The Boston Globe assigns a team of journalists to investigate allegations against John Geoghan, an unfrocked priest accused of molesting more than 80 boys. Led by editor Walter "Robby" Robinson (Michael Keaton), reporters Michael Rezendes (Mark Ruffalo), Matt Carroll and Sacha Pfeiffer interview victims and try to unseal sensitive documents. The reporters make it their mission to provide proof of a cover-up of sexual abuse within the Roman Catholic Church...

Join us on Friday evening for our next DOWN IN FRONT! presentation as our crew riffs on René Cardona's SANTO IN THE TREASURE OF DRACULA: THE S*XY VAMPIRE VERSION! The original 1969 release of "Santo en El Tesoro de Drácula" was black-and-white and featured no nudity, but the film was simultaneously shot in colour featuring full frontal nudity for European markets, finally releasing in Mexico in 2012 as "El Vampiro y el S**o"!

After inventing a time machine, Mexican wrestler, El Santo, uses it to go back in time to track down the location of Dracula's hidden treasure. This is with the noble intention of using the treasure to help fund a children's hospital. In his quest to obtain the treasure, he is forced to face down and battle Dracula and his bevy of beautiful, vampire vixens...
