There’s just something special about an old downtown movie theater. 🎬

This is the Harlan Theatre in downtown Harlan, Iowa — tucked inside a beautiful historic building with that classic marquee glowing over Main Street. Look closely above the theater sign and you’ll see the old Long’s Opera House name still built into the facade, a reminder that these small-town buildings have lived a lot of lives.

It’s the kind of place that makes a downtown feel alive: movie posters in the windows, lights on the marquee, and a little piece of Iowa history still being used today.

It was a school double header today. Harlan 8th grade in the morning and AHSTW 7th and 8th grade this afternoon. Many thanks to AHSTW for supporting us 2x this week! Wishing all the students a great summer vacation and if your looking for something to do this summer our summer kids movies start June 2.
