For over a century, the Vic has been a achievement on Walnut Street in Green Bay. In 1899, the building was established as the Green Bay theater by John B. In 1912, the Green Bay theater was renamed to Jay-Are theater after being purchased by Dr. J.R. One year later, the Jay-Are was leased to Harry K. The Theater went through a significant remodel in 1930 which included a new art deco facade desig

ned by George Johnston. Marcus theater's changed the name to Vic theater in 1956, when they took over operations. Another stage of remodeling was done which included moving the ticket counter inside and making the vending counter more exposed to the lines of customers. The Vic has been closed since the late 1980's.
