I’ve always loved this quote of hers. 💕 It reminds me that just because things have been a certain way doesn’t mean they have to stay that way. When I left the film industry to go into Professional Organizing I was terrified, but I knew I did not like the road I was walking. It’s okay to make a change - you might surprise yourself! I think we will all miss this wonderful woman who encouraged others so well.

My weekend organizing project. 😍 My gift wrap supplies were split into two spaces and it was good enough for a long time. But then I saw this IKEA cart in their kitchen section and immediately knew how I would use it. What sealed the deal were these great hooks and cubbies from another IKEA system that also work perfectly with this cart. It’s full but what a win - I can find specific items so much faster and it’s now in one place. This cart also comes with wheels so it can roll with me wherever I am working in the house. 💕🎉

Happy Father’s Day! So thankful for my Dad, Father-in-law and especially this guy right here. He brings strength, wisdom and so much joy to our home. Thank you for being a great Dad and Stepdad to our four kids and leading with kindness and love even on the hard days. You are a blessing!

A love note and sneak peek at my largest photo job to date. Here are a few of the for now (wait until you see the before photos). You can see how a photo job is returned - in year order, inside sleek, archival boxes with labels. Along with their hard drives comes their new family history (almost never previously recorded in one place) along with a handwritten note. There were photos the homeowner had never seen before and thought were lost forever. 🥺 There were thousands upon thousands of duplicates and bad shots crowding the collection. If you can’t tell, I love this moment! To have the privilege of presenting someone with their story - woven into faces and letters, with lighting, textures and mise-en-scene that can’t be replicated - makes my heart sing. You can’t make these stories up. They’re your stories. They will shape the stories of those who come. They are worth preserving. 💗

Some of my favorite memories aren’t at a fancy restaurant or exotic location, but in a quiet living room with kind people. When your home is organized (not perfect because that doesn’t exist) it is easier to bless others. That’s the real gift of organizing. 🫶🏻.
