I have received many inquiries about the sale of Fall River and Mt. Burney Theatres. Originally I wanted to sell them together as a package deal. I am now willing to sell them separately. Give me an offer and perhaps we can make a deal. I hate to see them sad and empty.

Sorry Fall River Theatre as well as Mt. Burney Theatre are closed permanently. Is there someone reading this who would like to buy the theatres and provide the community with film or another form of entertainment again? Maybe you know someone? Please help to get the word out.
I will consider all offers. I hate to see them empty when not so long ago they were filled with joy. They need fresh enthusiasm.

I have been thinking about and dreading this decision for months. I have decided to permanently close Mt. Burney Theatre and Fall River Theatre. Yesterday was my 23rd anniversary of owning the sweet little hometown theater in Burney. I enjoyed seeing all of you as you came through the doors of both theaters to see some form of Hollywood magic. I’ve watched local kids grow up and now many of them have children of their own. That’s just amazing.
I worked longer in the theater business than in my former profession that I retired from. It’s kinda hard to wrap my head around that. The years went by quickly because of your enthusiasm.
The 1960’s popcorn machine is my favorite piece of equipment in the Mt. Burney Theatre! I ate popcorn every day for 22 1/2 years and still love it.
I miss movies. I miss you.
Hopefully someone will have a new vision for both Mt. Burney and Fall River Theatres. I’d love to come back as a customer and support them.
Please pass the word that both are for sale and ready to bring cheer, joy and happy memories to everyone.
Thank you for my happy life as your town’s movie theater owner. Your patronage is still very much appreciated.
Let’s get through this horrible pandemic together and move on to healthy and happy days ahead.

Both Fall River Theatre and Mt. Burney Theatre are for sale. It is a package deal and includes land, buildings and nearly everything inside, including digital projection equipment and sound systems.

Clint Eastwood’s RICHARD JEWELL is playing this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. And Sunday at 1p.m. Jan. 3-5, 2020. This is the story of the security guard who saved thousands of lives from a bomb at the 1996 Olympics and was later falsely accused of planting the bomb. Excellent acting by Paul Walter Hauser as Richard Jewell, Sam Rockwell as his lawyer and Kathy Bates as Jewell’s mother. Great movie.
General admission $8.50, Seniors 65 and over and children 12 and under $7, matinee $7. Balcony $11 at all times.

JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL will play for its final showtimes at Fall River Theatre this weekend. Showtimes Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7pm. There is a matinee at 1pm on Sunday. Very entertaining. Many, many laughs. Just as good as the last one. I’ll watch it again!
