One of my favorite New England escapes is Winvian in Connecticut’s Litchfield Hills. This Relais & Châteaux property is unlike any other, with 18 individually designed luxury cottages, a AAA Fine Dining Restaurant, a peaceful spa, and experiences like like wine tastings, cooking classes, bonfires, and scenic walking trails.

I still think about the chocolate chip coconut bread and relaxing by the fire after my visit last fall.

Just about an hour from Fairfield County, Winvian is a destination worth experiencing.
