A very unique and special treat coming to the Art House on June 23rd, 2026: Ak’chamel ( ) and Derek Monypeny ()

Ak’chamel, The Giver of Illness creates a singular sound of desert-scorched psychedelia, post-apocalyptic shamanism, and impish ritual folk - as unique as the physical theater of their intense live performances.

For over fifteen years they have released dozens of cassettes, several vinyl records, and a handful of cryptic VHS tapes. The group remains veiled in mystery, yet they tour often - having performed at Roadburn Fest, Le Guess Who?, End of the Road, and many other prestigious festivals - bringing their plague into the ravaged heart of the world.

“Performed in full costume, Ak’chamel are about as weird as we all thought the first season of True Detective was supposed to be” -VICE

Supported by solo opening act: Derek Monypeny

Coming live to the Art House stage on June 17th, 2026: Lucy Clearwater! ()

Born in a bathtub in a cookie factory in California, Lucy Clearwater is an acoustic folk/Americana singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and nature-loving old soul with a background in classical violin. Since moving to LA in 2016, she’s released numerous singles and EPs (Feel Again, Casual, Augenlieder, and April), sold out beloved venues like The Hotel Cafe, and graced the stage at iconic venues such as The Troubadour, The Roxy, and The El Rey. Drawing inspiration from the artists she grew up listening to such as Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and Lucinda Williams, she spent most of 2024 touring internationally, and sharing the stage with artists like Joe Pug, John Craigie, Madison Cunningham, Victoria Canal, Ocie Eliott, Ye Vagabonds, Philine Sonny, and Luca Fogale to name a few. Clearwater won the 2024 New Folk Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival, and returned for a notable performance on the main stage in 2025. Her heartfelt, vulnerable songwriting and rich acoustic sound resonate deeply. With a handful of singles from her debut LP already released, Clearwater’s full length album, “People ≠ Possessions” produced by Grammy award winner Tyler Chester will release May 14th 2026 followed by a celebratory release show May 15th at Sid The Cat Auditorium in Los Angeles. Tissues are a good accessory at any Lucy Clearwater concert!

Coming LIVE to the Art House Stage on June 14th, 2026: Come Jazz You Are + Ian Stevens Sextet

COME JAZZ YOU ARE:

Come Jazz You Are is a Eugene-based jazz/grunge fusion ensemble reimagining iconic ’90s songs through smoky jazz arrangements, theatrical performance, and groove-heavy reinterpretation.

Equal parts nostalgic and unexpected, the band transforms familiar anthems into immersive live experiences filled with lush instrumentation, playful tension, and cabaret-like atmosphere. Audiences often find themselves caught between surprise and recognition, slowly realizing they know every lyric.

From intimate listening rooms to lively late-night sets, Come Jazz You Are invites listeners into a world where grunge, jazz, and theatrical storytelling collide.

IAN STEVENS SEXTET:

Ian Stevens is an up-and-coming saxophonist born in Okinawa, Japan, and currently based in Eugene, Oregon. His sound blends a wide range of influences, from Lester Young’s warm, melodic lyricism to Kenny Garrett’s modern approach, resulting in a deeply personal voice on the instrument.

Ian studied Psychology and Music at the University of Oregon, where he worked extensively with renowned jazz educators Joe Manis, Steve Owen, and Paul Krueger. During his time there, he had the opportunity to learn from and share the stage with an impressive roster of Portland jazz musicians, including George Colligan, Robert Rodriguez, Michael Raynor, Chris Shuttleworth, and Dan Balmer.

Ian continues to perform extensively throughout Oregon and is quickly establishing himself as a distinctive emerging voice in the jazz scene.

Everyone Village is a West Eugene transitional housing community built on a simple belief: healing happens in relationship. On May 28, the village hosts ‘Home Grown’, a benefit concert in its honor. Village residents will perform alongside local bands Gents and Sundrawn. Founder Gabe Piechowicz will share the village’s story. A short documentary and an announcement about the organization’s next chapter round out the evening.

Everyone Village operates a 3.5-acre site with over 50 individual homes, workforce development programs, and on-site mental health and recovery services. It functions less like a program and more like a community.

Doors open at 6:30 pm, with a $10 suggested donation. More at everyonevillage.org.

Coming live to the Art House on May 26th, 2026: Sage & Aera () with support from the Sun & Moon Sisters

Renowned for his pivotal role in the transcendental folk band Elephant Revival, Sage Cook has captivated audiences with iconic tracks like “Go On,” “Cosmic Pulse,” and “Down to the Sea.” In 2013, Sage and Aera embarked on a transformative journey to Kansas, embracing subsistence farming and channeling their connection to the land into soul-stirring creativity.

Their journey led to the creation of the atmospheric indie electro-pop band WE DREAM DAWN, where they crafted rich, evocative soundscapes with drummer Mark Levy and Grammy Award winning producer and multi-instrumentalist Steven Vidaic. After spending 7 years creating their recent release, Sage & Aera return to their roots as a raw, acoustic duo; organically rooted and cosmically inspired folk music for the modern era.

With support from local duo - The Sun & Moon Sisters - an acoustic harmony duo of two sisters singing close, intuitive harmonies. Rooted in indie-folk and Americana storytelling, their sound is soft and stripped-down, creating an intimate, atmospheric set of original songs shaped by themes of family, community, and connection.

With a background in vocal jazz and ca****la ensembles through college, Courtney Renea brings a strong foundation in harmony, while Dacé Willow’s songwriting is simple, honest, and piercing, with lyrics that land straight in the heart.
