The EHLS serves the residents of East Haddam through two unique facilities: Rathbun Free Memorial Library (860-873-8210) and East Haddam Free Public Library (860-873-8248). Join Food Explorers, on Thursday, July 23 at 11am at Rathbun, with your tiniest chefs for a hands on food and cooking experience! Working with a caregiver, your little chefs will create a Pinkalicous Raspberry Parfait with layers of homemade raspberry whipped cream, and use their senses to explore different fruits and vegetables with games and taste tests. Recipe is nut free but will contain dairy and gluten. Registration required. Rec. for ages 2-5.

The Friends of the Rathbun Book Donation days in July and August are cancelled. We will resume in September.
The Friends of the East Haddam Free Public Library are collecting books for their Annual Book Sale, and drop-offs are at the First Church of Christ, Congregational in East Haddam on Tuesdays, 10:00-12:00, so please consider making your donations to this good cause!
