That was the most fun! Thanks to everybody for shimmying over for 'S**g' last night, it was a good, good time!

Here's a clip of the Myrtle Beach Pavilion from around the years 'S**g' was filmed, all of it long gone now.

Big thanks to everyone that experienced 'Critical Condition' the other night! As listed in the credits but not seemingly seen, Anastasia Furs was located on N Cherry St in downtown Winston-Salem (sorta across from the Benton Convention Center). If it was an actual Camel City p**n shop used in the opening scene then that quite likely would have been over on Liberty, a couple blocks east.

Big thanks to everyone that waded through the wet stuff for 'Wolfman' last night, that was a howl! Here's a bit more on Sid Rancer, the local actor who played the doctor George Tate. He also appeared in three other Earl Owensby productions along with 'Redneck Miller' and 'Trucker's Woman'!

For this week's Movie Loft presents 'Wolfman' we'll be shelving Awkward Trivia™ and holding a raffle with all moneys going towards the fine endeavor of Skin and Bones Theater! Prizes include original photo glossies of the film, a cassette copy of a moog soundtrack from another E.O. flick courtesy of , and other goodies! Raffle tickets will be 2 for $5 or 5 for $10, cash or QR code accepted!

Thanks to everyone that took a chance on 'The Music of Chance' last night, that was a head-scratcher for sure! The Movie Loft research team is hard at work trying to determine where that stone wall was built and if it still stands. If anyone else has any leads then please chime in!

Movie Loft is thrilled to help present an evening with A. S. Hamrah () , critic for The Baffler, n+1, Harper’s and more, for a reading, conversation, and book signing at Letters Bookshop ().

His latest collection takes on corporate moviemaking, film history, and the state of cinema with clarity, bite, and real love for the medium.

He’ll also introduce Abbas Kiarostami’s Taste of Cherry on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 PM at Duke’s Rubenstein Arts Center. Free and open to the public.
