We're so excited. We will be able to do a pre-release, Thursday evening screening of Forgotten Island tomorrow evening at 7:00 pm! This is where we interview our guests as they are leaving and get reviews of the film. Of course my two grandchildren, who I refer to as Siskel and Ebert, will be there for their colorful commentary. Go to www.gemtheaterdubach.com for online tickets, or purchase at the door. See you at the movies!

The much anticipated annual Dubach Chicken Fest begins this Friday. Bring your family and spend the day enjoying all the activities. The Gem Theater lobby will be open all day, and everyone is invited to come in and look around. I can never resist showing The Gem off! We will have new T-shirts, blankets, and our famous Butterbeer for sale in the lobby, along with our regular snacks and popcorn! If we can get the supplies in time, we will also have freshly made cotton candy! Again, we want to thank Joe Kelley, with Kelley Kustoms Collision Repair for donating 40 free tickets to the premier of Forgotten Island. They went really fast! Visit our website at www.gemtheaterdubach.com for movie listings, or to buy tickets online.

We had a coven of witches convinced they could pull off a jump from our balcony after watching Practical Magic 2 last night! Luckily they didn't try it. Sunday Matinee, at 2:30 tomorrow, will be the final showing at the Gem before we move on to Forgotten Island. We are bringing excitement to North Louisiana, one movie at a time! Go to www.gemtheaterdubach.com for movie info!
