Good Morning Everyone!.....The Dos Palos Theatre is a Local Home Town Main Street Theatre Her In ....YOU GUESSED IT.....DOS PALOS CALIFORNIA......It Currently Closed and Being Used as a Church, But For those of You who appreciate History it has Lots of Good Memories, Historical Background and Is a Very Beautiful Building here in town!......My Name Is Richard and I Problably Know this Building and Its History Better Than Anyone, as I was Given the Opportunity TO Operate it From January of 2004 Until December of 2008! ITs Roots Go back to The Orignial Owner Who was the First mayor of Dos Palos, It has SUFFERED A Fire, Only to Be Remodeled again In 1946 When American Seating Company Introduced their BODIFORM 16M Seats as a PART OF the Remodel....One of the FIRST INSTALLATIONS AFTER WORLD WAR II. Through out the History of Our Theatre, we have come together as a Community to Enjoy a Simpler time with Friends Family and Neighbors.....Watching Generation after generation of Children Grow Up.....This Building Has STOOD THE TEST OF TIME, and Will Continue To Be an active part of our Community Be it a Theatre, Or Church as it currently is.....At The VERY LEAST....DRIVE BY AND ADMIRE THE BEAUTY of a Local TREASURE of OUR CENTRAL VALLEY LANDSCAPE.....AND IMAGINE THE MEMORIES .....IF ONLY THESE WALLS COULD TALK......

Good Morning Everyone! Its Richard The "THEATRE GUY" Here and My excitement Just keeps on building! I have a Great umber of Surprises in store Everyone with the Pieces all in place!......That's Right.....All the Pieces have fallen in Place. Patience Time and A commitment have made it possible and I will be announcing the Opening of One of the Historic Movie Houses I have been talking about!!!!!!! Lets Preserve This part of Movie Cinema for Generations to come......Stay tuned as This Is going to Be a DOUBLE FEATURE!!!! Pictures are Being taken As I speak to You! Good Morning Everyone......Happy Holidays! My Excitement is building as I have been asked to Help RE-OPEN 3 OTHER HISTORIC MOVIE THEATRES !!!!! TWO Of Which are Located Right Here in the Central Valley......One of which was opened in January of 1941 and Has Been Closed About 22 Years....Another of Which was opened in 1948 or 1949......But Remember I Still Have a Very Fond Attachment To The Dos Palos Theatre Right Here in Dos Palos.....I Hope You Will Keep Me in Your Prayers for all OF these Theatres and Hope One Day to Help You and Yours to Build Lasting Family Memories! Hey EVERYONE......ITs THE THEATRE GUY "RICHARD" and Im Asking Everyones Help in Getting the Word Out that "WE" Need The Small Town America MOVIE houses to RE-OPEN AND Build STONGER "COMMUNITY " INVOLVEMENT......LETS Give The Younger Generation A Positive Place to Have Good Times.....Lasting Memories and Most Of all A "SAFE" PLACE TO PLAY! I will Be POSTING PICTURES of THE DOS PALOS THEATRE SOON.......SO WISH ME LUCK AND SPREAD THE WORD, I "REFUSE" TO GIVE UP!!!!!!! SO TRY AND THROW ME TO THE WOLVES .......I WILL COME BACK LEADING THE "PACK"!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone! Times are Changing and The Time is NOW to Build a Stronger Community! We NEED more activities for our YOUNG adults so that we can keep them out of Trouble!.....Positive Family INFLUENCES and Places Like "OUR" Theatre Need to RE-OPEN Before its too late. Lets Accentuate the "POSITIVE" things in our Community. I Have always Said that at "OUR" Theatre "COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT STARTS HERE!!!!!" Show me your support and lets find a way to Re OPEN this Historic Theatre and Theatres like the DOS PALOS for future generations to enjoy......Your THEATRE GUY RICHARD

Hey Everyone Welcome to the Dos Palos Theatre Page....Its Richard The Theatre Guy here and Im Getting Excited.....I am proud to say that here in OUR Community One of our Most Iconic and Memorable Buildings is This Wonderful Historic Movie Theatre....It Dates back to the Golden Age of cinema, and Im PROUD to say IM The MOVIE GUY or THEATRE GUY as the Local kids call me....I will be Uploading Photos of This Pride and Joy in Hopes of Building a HYPE About this GRAND OLD BUILDING and Urging our Community into Realizing the TREASURE Our LIttle Town Posesses....Stay Tuned as I Get this Page up and Running....I Have Litterally Hundreds of Photos of our community and Myself and the many wonderful Hours Ive spent Running the Films Here!....Saddly due to economic reasons we Closed our Doors December 31 2008 But Im Refusing To give UP! Lets Build the Hype together and Urge Our Community and Friends To Come Together and Make This Old Building Shine!!!!
