DU Chinese Language and Culture Club The CLCC at DU is a club which offers an inclusive environment for undergraduate students to practice their Chinese and learn more about Chinese culture.

The mission of the Chinese Language and Culture Club is to provide an inclusive environment in which students at the University of Denver can practice and improve their Chinese language skills and explore Chinese culture in greater depth outside of class. Members will be encouraged to engage with others in the club in order to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and ideas, which will strengthen me

mbers’ understanding of China’s extensive history, complex culture, contemporary landscape, and language. The club will host a multitude of regular meetings and special events (including Chinese tea hours, movie nights, calligraphy workshops, brush painting, tai chi, etc.) to help students develop their familiarity with Chinese language and culture. The ultimate goal is for members to be able to share their interest in China with other students like themselves.
