We’re very excited to announce that starting tomorrow the Dedham Community Theatrer will be showing two phenomenal films that epitomize the commitment to the artistry of independent cinema.
“I SWEAR” - inspired by a real life story, directed by Kirk Jones who also directed “Waking Ned Divine.”A Scottish man with Tourette syndrome -follows John Davidson's life from his misunderstood teenage years in 1980s Scotland to becoming an advocate for Tourette's awareness, balancing humor and heartfelt drama. It is receiving critical acclaim for its performances.
“THE CHRISTOPHERS” -a comedy-drama directed by legendary Steven Soderbergh, starring Ian McKellen, Michaela Coel, Jessica Gunning, and James Corden, about the estranged children of a famous, reclusive artist who hire an art restorer to pose as an assistant and forge his unfinished paintings for a massive inheritance. Will leave you thinking about what we all leave behind as our “mark” on the canvas of life.
