Welcome friends, acquaintances, and you other two (you know who you are) to the beginning of a new age of in-dorm cinema! For those of you who have not yet visited the site, we have recently began renovations for the sight of your own personal in-dorm cinema! The room formerly known as C325 is being converted into a community movie theatre that will hopefully be up and running by Saturday, March 5th! Now this goal can not be obtained without some effort. Us owners have already sacrificed time and GPA during the initial phases of construction this past weekend and we will continue to due so hopefully with a little help from you!
The idea behind this theatre is to achieve a maximum movie experience on our college budgets. This is to be achieved by a communal effort where everyone gives their small contribution to make everyones experience a little better. So if you think you can provide a popcorn popper, bring some snacks for everyone to munch on during a showing, design us a logo thats not made up of watermarked stock photo's, or just stop by to help put up the screen during the remaining construction please feel free to join us. Don't know what you can contribute? Just ask us and we'll help you think of something! Our goal is that everyone puts in a little and gets out great experiences.
Now what are we watching? That's for you to decide! Going with our communal philosophy, the movie selection for each showing will be decided by the audience. We will take suggestions and put it to a vote a few days before the screening and do our best to get access to that movie (which could be your contribution for that screening *nudge nudge*).
Also, feel free to invite your friends to this page or to a showing, all are welcome who wish to contribute (although after a point, it will be a BYO chair situation).
