📻 (105.3 FM) 🎞 The Dixie Twin Drive-In Theater is a classic example of Americana that offers current day value with a touch of nostalgia. Located in Dayton, Ohio, “The Dixie” has 2 huge Screens, each with its own State-of-the-Art Digital Projector. We feature “First-Run” movies and pl

ay 2 movies per screen, per night, for an unmatched outdoor movie theater experience.

⏰ Starting in April, the outdoor movie season begins Friday & Saturday nights and expands to 6 nights per week (Closed Mondays) from Memorial Weekend through Mid-August. Toward summer’s end, we go back to a Friday & Saturday schedule until the season ends around end of October.

📽 🍿 Movies start at dark and there’s a full Concession Stand of food, drinks, treats, snacks, meals and even custom Dixie Merch! A short intermission in-between the first and second movie, allows for bathroom breaks and last chance purchases of concession drinks/snacks/meals. Bathrooms are located on the north side of our Concession Stand.

🔎 The grounds of the Dixie Twin are also home to a Sunday morning outdoor shopping experience! Visit “The Paris Flea Market” Sundays, 6:00am to 12:00 noon (seriously, people are shopping at 6 am with flashlights), starting April through October. Open Rain or Shine.

We in fact will be open tonight for anyone that wants to watch some movies in their car.

Rain is helping tremendously (only time you'll hear that from a drive-in) it is not smokey over here at all!

We will stil be operating on a super skeleton crew tonight so please be patient with us! Concessions will be open!

Quick Update! Air quality conditions have been bad all day. We were planning to show the movies tonight but are unsure at the moment. If we do run them, we will be running at a reduced operating capacity for the welfare of our crew. As much as it is weirdly perfect weather for EVIL DEAD BURNS, we care about our crew and customers and want everyone to be safe.

Hoping the rain helps move the weird smokey air out.

We will continue to monitor and update soon.

We here at The Dixie Twin Drive-In are thankful to live in a cinematic year where both movies TOY STORY 5 and JACKASS 5 exist and are playing on opposite screens on the same weekend.

We are also very excited to be brining in EVIL DEAD BURN to the dixie this weekend. Even better and more gruesome than Evil Dead Rise!
