The Clover Theater

The Clover Theater was operated for 10 years with the utmost love, care, personal pride, and integrity. I ran the theater to the best of my ability given the resources available in Cloverdale, a global pandemic that shuttered the business for more than 18 months, and a shifting film industry.

There are baseless and cruel rumors being spread behind the shield of social media, and I will not respond to them. I encourage everyone to do the same.

Thanks to everyone who committed to and loved the movie theater with me over the last ten years. My wife, Kathryn, is leading the charge at AVFilm on the next evolution of the movie-going experience, and I sincerely hope you support and enjoy their efforts.

Thank you for 10+ years of supporting the movies in Cloverdale. We gave it our all. We wish we could keep going, but it is time to close our doors for good. Thank you to all of our members, all the first dates, the first movies, the family outings, the 2013 kickstarters and the 2021 marquee believers. Thank you for standing with us while we all navigated impossible community challenges. Thank you to our incredible employees for their hard work and the memories we’ll cherish. But most of all, thanks for giving me the opportunity to fulfill a dream that might never have taken flight were it not for Cloverdale. - Ryan
