We're celebrating the summer with a very special event this weekend!

Our buddy Chef Scotty (formerly of Aperture) will be taking over the patio to serve up a veritable smorgasbord of Polynesian-fusion inspired foods for you to pig out! And while you get your swine on, we've got local Cincinnati surf band The Mimics ready to shred!

Not a fan of pork? Our neighbors Halal Food Inc. will have plenty of other fare to keep you satiated!

Pop-up begins at 6pm — food prices available day of event. Weather dependent.

A Message from Skipper:

I understand some people may not feel the most up for celebrating today. Maybe you don't like fireworks and have been stressed enough as is with them exploding all week from people who can't seem to wait — maybe you don't like parades or feel it's way too hot to barbecue — maybe with everything going on right now, you just don't have the the spirit to celebrate today.

I try not to talk politics — it's not what people come to Bang Bang for. But it's not unfair to say that as we celebrate the 250th birthday of our country, there are a lot of people living here, citizens or otherwise, who don't feel welcome in a vision of the nation which is being projected and has been centered as "the" vision of the nation. To those people who feel unwelcome, we have this to say: it is you who make our communities, cities, states, and country vibrant and colorful. If you feel unwelcome anywhere else, you can always find yourself welcome here.

So we're going to be open for a little bit today if you need somewhere to go. If things are dead as the grave then we'll close so the staff can enjoy the holiday, but if you're in the neighborhood and feel like raising a Mai Tai or two, we'll keep a seat open.

And remember: drink water, wear sunscreen, and practice basic safety when handling explosives of any size.

Welcome to July!

Thank you all for another successful LGBTiQi+. We're returning to our standard menu, which will be in effect until this October. It's HOT today, and we know you're going to need a nice long and cold drink.

But if you're feeling hungry, we're excited to welcome Halal Food Inc. into the neighborhood and announce their soft opening! They're right across the patio from us, and their mediterranean street food is a perfect pair with our cocktails. Every day we're open, they'll be open, too, and if you're the kind of heat-enjoying sicko that actually wants to be outside right now, be sure to enjoy both on our patio!

This Sunday is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and the day on which, 35-years-ago, our fearless, handsome, intelligent, charismatic, talented, and humble leader was gifted into the world. As such, it is only right that after everything he has done for us, (such as slave away on graphics like this one, taste our menu ideas, work the Tuesday shift, put up with our countless mutinies, and occasionally clean the toilets) we give him the birthday celebration he DESERVES.

Anyway, this Sunday we'll be having a special brunch on our patio, featuring our great friend Alex Cristobal of Petite Vie in Chicago. Your favorite potion master (who is not Skipper) Zaiquiri will be showing off his culinary skills on the grill with some delicious spam sliders. And perhaps a certain birthday hunk will be spinning on the ones and twos 😍🥵😭

We open at 2pm, and drinks, food, and merriment will be kickin' off! Skipper did NOT write this. The staff of Bang Bang wrote this because we love him so much. The rapid blinking is just an eye twitch. Our families are safe.

Swing through this month for some incredible cocktails, mocktails, shots and bowls curated by some of our talented and beautiful bartenders! Or just for a nice space full of love and community and a tropical escape!

This menu will run through the end of the month, but some ingredients are so unique (much as you all are), that supplies may be limited, so get in fast! And keep posted on our socials or our chalkboard in house for our special events all month!
