Winter Hymns will play Sunday, May 17th at 1:30 and Monday, May 18th at 6:30. This is an independent film with many Wisconsin ties. This video shows an interview with one of these local actors. The film is set in a Wisconsin palliative/hospice care physician's office and take place over the course of one day. The emotions, family interactions, and end of life conversations are something many of us has or will experience. Come out the the Chilton Cinema and support local film making! We are excited to bring the independent film Winter Hymns to Chilton. This movie has numerous Wisconsin ties including being filmed in Wisconsin with several local actors playing parts in the film. The movie takes place over one day in a palliative/hospice care physician's office. The emotions, family conversations, and end of life struggles are themes woven through the various patients and families that this physician cares for. Most of us are able to relate to this film as we have felt these emotions or had some of these difficult conversations. A must see film!

With the summer season around the corner and lots of family movie product to choose from. we are playing a variety of movies this month to appeal to a range of audience preferences. Project Hail Mary will start Friday and play for one week only. An independent film, Winter Hymns, will play on Sunday and Monday. This is a local made film with actors/writer/director ties to Wisconsin. We will be posting some interviews with Winter Hymns actors and the writer/director. Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu starts Memorial Day weekend. See showtimes below.
