Vintage P.M. Productions VHS box cover for MICHAEL, ANGELO AND DAVID (1976), directed by Francis Ellie, pseudonym for John Amero and Michael Findlay, NY-based directors who worked together on '60s s*xploitation films and then on gay hardcore films for P.M. that often featured humor, romance, and dramatic action-packed plots.
MICHAEL, ANGELO AND DAVID details the l***y New York adventures of David (David Savage), a cute, naive youngster fresh off the boat from Italy who came to visit his s*xy uncle Michael in the Big Apple. (Uncle Michael is played by Dennis Walsh, star of Jack Deveau's 1976 Hand in Hand Films classic, WANTED: BILLY THE KID, here billed as Brian Haines and hilariously voiced over - as with much of the cast - by Michael Findlay in his ultra-distinct voice.) On his way to see the Empire State Building, David is waylaid by a handsome stranger (popular bis*xual p**n star Marc "10 1/2 inch" Stevens), who shows him the tall structure in his pants, instead. More adventures await David in the big city, including an o**y at his uncle's place, encounters with other men, a**l beads, and a double-headed d***o! At the o**y, David meets Marc again and they realize that they are in love, but it's time for him to return to Italy. What to do? The film has a wonderful tongue-in-cheek script (including a quirky side plot of phone conversations between Uncle Michael and his travel agency client, Joan Crawford) enabling it to offer quite a few chuckles, in addition to many very hard erections!
