The Community Theatre The Community Theater is a historic theater in Catskill, NY showing a mix of first-run and classic cinema. Come see a movie!

Built in 1920, The Community Theatre has two movie screens and a vaudeville stage. We show the latest releases, repertory classics, and independent films, and are available for live performances. Ticket prices are as follows:
Adults - $11
Seniors (65+) - $8
Students, Teachers and Military - $8
Children - $8
Tuesdays - All tickets $5.00

The next edition of the PRE K MATINEE on Sunday, July 26, features the 2009 Disney hit THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG. Set in New Orleans during the Jazz Age, a young girl named Tiana has a fateful encounter with a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again.

The Pre-K Matinee is a screening series for children aged 2-5 and their families that’s our answer to story time! We keep the lights on low and the sound a little lower than usual to make the theater a less overwhelming experience for all. Plus we’ll have special concessions for children to enjoy! All tickets are just $5, and free under 2. We'll see you there!

The next edition of the PRE-K MATINEE is coming up this Sunday at 11am with AN AMERICAN TAIL!

A young mouse named Fievel and his family decide to migrate to America, a “land without cats,” at the turn of the 20th century. But somehow, Fievel ends up in the New World alone and must fend off not only the felines he never thought he’d have to deal with again but also the loneliness of being away from home.

We play short and long-form content specifically chosen to please young viewers and parents, and we keep the lights on low and the sound a little lower than usual to make the theater a less overwhelming experience for all.
