Plans are well underway for the NORTHCOUNTRY MUSIC FEST on July 9 and 10 at Long Falls Park in downtown Carthage, NY
- Many of the bands and speakers have been picked and are set to play. music will start off with a more worship style, progress to adult contemporary, indie, soft rock, and end with rock leading into the fireworks.

Cabin 3 has many events going on. We have WORSHIP NIGHTS with a wide range of bands and styles Christian Rock, indie, worship...we also have had hikes, outdoor events, mission projects and so on. we are now located in The First Baptist Church of Carthage NY AND The Hannibal Community Church. Over the past 3 summers we have hosted The Summer Rock Fest and nights of worship with many bands, Seventh Day Slumber, The Brothers McClurg, The Protest, GFM, Spoken, Undefeated, Facing the Giants, The Season, Nathan Sheridan, and many more. We had former Newsboys lead singer come and speak, we have taken trips to the ADKs, worked on mission projects, gone to the lockin at Destiny Mall, attended retreats, hosted the 30 hour famine and so much more. please review this page, like it, share it. Below this line is all now history.... but we will leave it . "Cabin 3 The Outpost Inc." recently took over the page of Cabin 3. The Outpost has NO WEBSITE, never did. Cabin 3 still has a web site and it is www.cabin3ministries.org. "Cabin 3 - The Outpost Inc." meets every Thursday and Saturday night at 7 West Bridge Street in Downtown Oswego from 5 - 10pm. Days and hours may change from time to time. We are in this location for the next 6 months, May through October. After that we may stay longer or may look for a larger venue. Many of the bands we work with simply will not fit in this downtown location. Our intent is to provide a drug and alcohol free place where teens, college students and young adults can hang out, relax, listen to music, have a corn on the cob soda ( coming soon)
The music styles will very, folk, rock, worship, indie, country, pop, contemporary Christian, metalcore, rap, and other styles we can not describe. Some of the bands have been labeled as "Christian", some have not. We are all about breaking down stereo types, labels and divisions. We intend to show everyone love, regardless of their beliefs, backgrounds or history. We have an all volunteer staff and are here to serve the community. Some of the bands may speak about various songs, the story behind the song, share personal testimonies etc. We ask that the music is PG in its content, no swearing, cutting down or bashing of groups, and are asking for music with uplifting, positive, inspiring messages. We have already had much positive feedback from teens, parents of teens, local churches, college students, etc.... Many have thanked us for our efforts. If you have questions or concerns, come on in and discuss them with us. The information after this point is still relevant, but is about 2 years old. Its a decent description of Cabin 3s typical year. "Cabin 3" is the youth group of Gods Vision Christian Church in Hannibal. For 8 months every year Sept. through April we meet EVERY Saturday night at 7pm in the Underground Teen Center and Cave and game room in Said Church. Ages 10 - 18 are welcome. There are no memebers, just friends. Each week there is music, Live and / or videos. bands like Skillet, Switchfoot, Casting Crowns, Crowder, Great Live bands like Stranger Than Fate, Creacia, Sent Forth, Good Fight, 4:thirtyseven, etc.....
Each week has a message based on YOUR questions about life. Cabin 3 takes many trips to see bands, trips recently to Utica, Buffalo, Syracuse, Binghamton, Cooperstown. Cabin 3 does mission work both local and across the world. Food pantries, homeless shelters, yard work, concert fundraisers, auctions, car washes, disaster relief training, etc. Cabin 3 holds the 30 hour famine each year raising 10s of thousands of dollars. Cabin 3 sponsors "Ruth" a little girl in Peru. So, if you like FRIENDS, FOOD, FUN, GAMES, TRUTH
