Outwash Plain A broad, outspread flat or gently sloping alluvial deposit of outwash in front of or beyond the term

The cabin is called Outwash Plain because of the above definition. Behind the cabin was home to an old Outwash Plain, thus the cabin being called "Outwash Plain." The cabin was constructed in the mid to late 1970's with the purpose of having a place to house staff for the summer. Finally in 2008, the cabin was finally turned into a permanent residence and boasts 2 spacious bedrooms, one full bath, and a huge kitchen.
