This is happening in many venues, even Broadway. Since Covid, we have experienced less as well. Truly, a theatre is an asset in a community for many reasons, but cannot stay giving great entertainment and opportunities without patrons buying tickets. It is not enough to say, 'We love having a community theatre." Support means ATTENDING.
