The National Theatre - Breckenridge The National Theatre is a completely restored and renovated 1920's movie theater in downtown Breckenridge.

It is of Art-Deco architecture with seating for 230 in a split configuration with a center isle and right/left side isles. At present it is available for live performances, special events, & party rental.

Your child's favorite week of the summer starts on Monday! Auditions for this year's Missoula Children's Theatre production of BEAUTY LOU & THE COUNTRY BEAST will take place at 10am on Monday, June 15. If you haven't registered yet, don't worry: in-person registration will take place in our lobby at 9:45am. Registration is $50 per child (must have completed kindergarten through 12th grade) and can be paid by cash or check.

To our fellow patrons, supporters, and lovers of the arts -- Friends of Historic Breckenridge has officially purchased the historic Dan's Studio building next door, which will now become part of the National Theatre complex!

What began as a practical purchase to support storage needs for theatre programming has quickly become something much bigger. In uncovering the building's hidden beauty, we realized its true potential: to preserve another piece of Breckenridge history while strengthening the cultural heart of our community.
