With a heavy heart, we are announcing that we will be closing our theater at the Boca Raton location. Aside from a short closure for COVID, we have been in continuous operation since November 2010, recently celebrating 12 years.

Our independent and foreign films have traditionally been patronized by an older audience that has been hesitant to return to public movie screenings following the public health crisis of the pandemic. With our primary focus on these specialty films, the protracted downturn has been especially devastating. Attendance in the key holiday period of Christmas through New Years was down by 65% compared to 2019.

โ€œClosing was a very sad and tough decision,โ€ said Steve Herring (CEO), โ€œwhen you have a love and passion for what you do, itโ€™s incredibly tough to let go, especially when youโ€™ve put so much of your energy into that work.โ€

Weโ€™re going to stay true to our legacy and finish with some fantastic films. Movies and the restaurant cafรฉ will be open every day up until the end to give our loyal patrons one last chance to come and say goodbye with us and celebrate the good thing we had here.

With the Oscar nominations announced this week, we had to bring these films back to the big screen!

Without a doubt, EVERYTHIGN EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE was one of the best movies in years. After its first 6weeks in theaters, the multiversal film dropped an unprecedented 0% at the box office. It has gone on to become A24's highest-grossing movie of all time!

But if you missed this masterpiece the first time and still want to take part in that experience, then we've got good news for you: it is returning to our screens for another round of hot dog hands, f***y pack fight scenes, and taxes (these references will soon make sense, trust us). Get your tickets now! ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ

This is unlike any film you have ever seen before.

Part faux documentary, part film-within-a-film, (who is currently imprisoned in Iran) plays a fictionalized version of himself, who has relocated to a rural border town in Iran to remotely direct a new film in nearby Turkey.

While there, he finds himself thrust in the middle of a local scandal, confronting the opposing pulls of tradition and progress. See NO BEARS Next Friday!

Marc Forsterโ€™s adaptation of Fredrik Backmanโ€™s book A Man Called Ove is a real crowd pleaser. Both and (an incredible scene stealer!) do excellent jobs of embodying the spirit of the novelโ€™s characters.

The film has a warm hearted message along with some deeper themes of loss and longing. Youโ€™ll laugh, youโ€™ll cheer, and you will most definitely cry.
