ASL Club at IU

ASL Club at IU The American Sign Language Club at Indiana University will serve as place for students to engage in American Sign Language with all levels of signers.

The ASL Club at IU will hold several different kinds of gatherings designed to enrich member experience! This semester there are 7 club meetings. Club meetings are where important information will be announced. We may have guest speakers, and likely some sort of activity to enhance our knowledge of ASL. We may be on campus or out in the downtown community. General Meetings:

-Tues., Feb. 7 (Deaf Faculty Panel!!!)
-Wed., Feb. 22 (Mo Bears Sign, Dine, and Donate!!!)
-Wed., March 8 (movie night)
-Thurs., March 23 (social event)
-Wed., April 5 (Board Game Night and Elections)
-Sun., April 23 (Culture Shock)

The ASL Club is also hosting "Shut up & Sign!" These informal round-table chats help members get to know one another better and provide an opportunity to practice conversational skills. They will be held every second and fourth Tuesday in the Sycamore 0008 at 5:30-6:30pm

Hello everyone! I would just like to share a message that was passed along to me!... Who is interested in going on a Haiti Deaf camp trip? We will be going June 8-16 to st LOUIE du nard northwest Haiti Christian mission. Cost is approximately $1500- you raise the money to go. You'll need to pay for your plane ticket when they are purchased (around $750- depending on best price at the time). Anyone interested?...
