We rolled out the red carpets for you! 🎥

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’ve been able to make a few improvements around the theatre this spring, including new carpeting and a restroom refresh.

The next time you visit, take a look around! These improvements are possible because of you. Thank you for helping us care for this historic theatre and keep it thriving for future generations. ❤️

A wedding week. Two people in love. And absolutely everything starting to unravel.

The Drama, starring Robert Pattinson and Zendaya, arrives at The Colonial tomorrow, bringing the kind of relationship spiral that's hard to look away from.

This is the sort of movie that is best experienced in a room full of people reacting together. Come grab some popcorn and see what all of the drama is about.

Meet the local stars ✨🐈

Ahead of the NY Cat Film Festival on June 4th, we're spotlighting some adoptable celebrities from Second Chance Animal Rescue (Second Chance Animal Rescue). These cats are ready for their big break (and maybe a forever home).

This special screening is presented in partnership with Second Chance Animal Rescue, who will also be tabling at the event, and a portion of proceeds from the evening will go to support their work helping animals in our community.

(And before anyone asks: no, the cats will not actually be attending the festival. Their agents said they're difficult to work with.)

A huge thank you to our guest speaker Marcos Silveira for the thoughtful and educational presentation exploring memory, nostalgia, and the magic of ice cream. And of course, thank you to for providing the delicious scoops that made the night even sweeter.

Nights like these are what make going to movies at The Colonial feel a little extra special ✨
