Time for some more Monstrous fun facts about our upcoming movie, 1994's TAMMY AND THE T-REX!

In order to save money, all locations were within 25-minutes of the director's house. During filming, a fire destroyed several nearby properties, leading many of the outdoor scenes to have a smoky quality.

Time for some more Monstrous fun facts about our upcoming movie, 1994's TAMMY AND THE T-REX!

Many of the more gory scenes were cut from the American release in order to sustain a PG-13 rating. The scenes survived in the Italian cut of the film, and are now standard in releases of the film (including the one we're showing! Yay blood!)

Time for some more Monstrous fun facts about our upcoming movie, 1994's TAMMY AND THE T-REX!

The film was only made because writer/director Stewart Raffill was granted access to a full-size t-rex animatronic by a South American theater owner. He wrote the script in a week, editing during the filming process. Often he would ask the crew, "Is there anything better I can add?"

Time for some Monstrous fun facts about our upcoming movie, 1927's METROPOLIS!

Actress Brigitte Helm was required to wear the robot costume for all filmed scenes, with director Fritz Lang refusing to utilize body doubles or stop motion. The suit was uncomfortable, leaving Helm with bruises and overheating her to the point of exhaustion and fainting. The suit was made of a new "plastic wood" substance and painted metallic.

Time for some Monstrous fun facts about our upcoming movie, 1927's METROPOLIS!

Much to director Fritz Lang's dismay, Adolf Hi**er and Joseph Goebbels were big fans of the film. Goebbels met with Lang and told him that he could be made an honorary A***n despite his Jewish background. Goebbels told him "Mr. Lang, we decide who is Jewish and who is not." Lang left for Paris that very night.
