How about a sweet one year old who needs love??

09/23/2026

Bakersfield, CA: this beauty needs a family to love! Go save her life if you have room in your heart and your home.

UPDATE: ADOPTED 🎉 spayed and left the shelter 9/30/26
She will stay for her spay and we will update again when she leaves the shelter.
Some dogs have the kind of ethereal beauty you can’t help but admire. Gwendolyn is one of those dogs. She’s utterly enchanting! Only six months old and under 20lbs this stunning girl charm you with her smile, with her floof and most of all with the most glorious of full body zoomies. Zoomies guaranteed to run right into your heart.

Video in the comments and in our stories for 24 hours.

Would you be Gwendolyn’s family? She is shy in her kennel but excited once she’s in the yard. She is dog friendly and warms up quickly to people. What breed brings all of this enchantment? A Springer Spaniel/Shepherd blend is our best guess. Whatever might be in her breed heritage we know you’re going to love her as much as we do!

Come for a meet and greet, no appointment needed, Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 3:30pm.

ADOPTION FEE WAIVED FOR OVER 30 DAY DOG
