The Blue Starlite Story: How we got to Round Rock and What is in Store!
Double Feature: Austin's Blue Starlite Drive-in finally opens Second Location, it’s FIRST in Round Rock Tx., this Spring.
AUSTIN, Texas—As the original Blue Starlite Drive-In rolls into it’s 10th anniversary year as Austin’s "mini urban drive-in movie theater experience" in East Austin across from the Mueller District, the creator of the concept unveils plans to finally heed a long requested second Texas location: Williamson County. This second location will get it's premiere in February 2020.
"For years our northern patrons have asked for a location in the Round Rock area," says founder Josh Frank. "Due to this interest, we have been looking for years for the perfect spot. We have finally found it. We are going to finally light a screen up for our far North Travis and Williamson Country friends."
Blue Starlite Drive-in has signed a deal to open a satellite location just down the street from the Salt Lick and Dell Diamond on Round Rock Parks and Rec. land in an overflow parking area of Rock N’ River Water Park. And it is right down the street from The Dell Diamond, Home of Round Rock Baseball!
