This theater features state of the art sound including Dolby Atmos and RealD 3D options. Athens Movie Palace has 5 screens. 3 of them are 3D equipped. We have showtimes every single day of the week. Showtimes can be found on our website: athensmoviepalace.com or by calling 4237468810. Visiting the Palace will save you money and time versus visiting theaters in surround areas! We also have some of the best equipment you will find anywhere.

We’ve got trips 2 and 3 this week.
Most of the work happens before the kids arrive.

Teachers send their drink lists and we fill the cups. Kids grab their cups on the way to the auditorium. We hand out their popcorn once they get seated.

Parents buy their tickets at the counter after we get the kid’s stuff situated and if kids want more concessions, they come out. then we start the movie.

As always, our schedule is posted weekly but online tickets will show you everything that’s currently available. We don’t know what will be coming in the future. We get most big releases. We don’t know how long things will stay. Most have a 2 week minimum.

As a reminder, we have a few rules that apply to our guests. These have been posted on our door since (before) we opened and have not changed.

🍔We do not allow outside food or drinks in the auditoriums. You are allowed to consume these items in the lobby. We are also happy to hold leftovers or drinks in our fridge so you don’t have to leave them in the car. You just cannot take them into your auditorium. This includes water bottles. If we continue to have issues with hostile guests on this topic, we will implement the standard industry practice of prohibiting/searching bags.
(And because someone will comment about the prices- we do have significantly cheaper options than the area chains and studios take as much as 75% of our ticket sales. We need concessions to survive but also the messes from snuck in food take much longer to clean)

🚬 Smoking/vaping is not allowed. You will be asked to leave without refunds. This includes the lobby/bathrooms/ auditoriums. You are welcome to step outside. If it’s the last showing of the night, a staff member can let you back in as the doors are locked.

The theater doors open 30 minutes before our first showtime. This does not mean you can enter your auditorium 30 minutes early for later shows. The auditorium is open for seating as soon as the movie before it is over and the auditorium cleaning. Cleaning should only take a couple of minutes but when large messes have been left, it can take us a bit longer.

Thank you for your cooperation in making this a safe welcoming space for all of our guests and for doing your part to keep the theater around for years to come. We are a small locally owned business desperate to keep their prices low and employees/customers safe and happy.
