This looks like a great theatre! I think it is so important to have a place in the community that celebrates film and performance art! I think there is a growing appreciation for more independent works because streaming services have made them more accessible. I know that my interest was sparked when I got the chance to stream the new sci-fi thriller Empathy, Inc. on Amazon. It was stunningly shot in gorgeous black and white cinematography, and it had a well-paced plot with vivid characters. I recommend giving this one a watch for some great inspiration! Keep on creating a space for art!
The final showing of "The Day the Cornfield Stood Still" is today at 2pm. Great show with characters you won't soon forget. Great way to get that scifi feeling on this cold yucky day! Come and support the Albion Recreational Theatre Company in our efforts to bring more of the arts to Albion! Many cast members are from Albion and the surrounding areas. The script was written by a local, as well. 2pm at the Albion Rec Center (Marshall Opportunity High) Tickets are just $4 or $3 if you join the fun and dress like an alien!
The Bohm Theater is going to become a world famous performance venue. It's layout, acoustics, and especially its people are going to make that happen.
I received this post from Phil Pesch: "Hi Frank. My sister and brother-in-law are renovating a theater in Indiana. Could you please share the name of the young woman who’s overseeing the Bohm project and her contact info. I think they would profit from a visit and a tour. Thanks."
Thank you Mary for the tour of the beautiful Bohm Theatre!!
I just wanted to tell you that you were almost a hero yesterday. Who does that? Leaves a lady stranded in a storm after offering to help. I know it was not your problem...but that was your time to shine and you dropped the ball. Thank God, and Trey your 17 year old student employee has kindness in his heart...Standing in the pouring rain to help me out. He did not even know how to jump start a car...so I taught him how, so if he ever has car trouble he will know what to do, and he may because his battery does not have a bolt on it. Now he knows how to work on batteries 101. Because of the missing bolt it was hard to get a good connection. Look you have young men working for you they are children really, and you have an opportunity to shape and mold their minds. They will look back and remember their boss at the Bohm theater and think wow what a cool guy he taught me a lot...or wow that guy was a jerk to a lady in a down pouring storm. When you do right by others it comes back ten fold. Maybe your theater would strive if you treated others with love and kindness. I could have understood it if...IF you had a line up to get movie tickets...but NO ONE WAS THERE. Who does that??????I will still hope and pray you have good things come your way but remember how you treat others comes back ten fold. I treat others with kindness, and that is why my car started and I asked for Gods help...You should do the same.

My husband and I went to see It last night and had an absolute awful time. The amount of disrespectful children in the audience made the movie entirely unenjoyable. Between the chatter constantly, the phones out, and the unnecessary shrieking we now have to plan to see the film again elsewhere. Money down the drain.
Went to Bohm 2 today for the first time today to see the Mummy. My daughter and I loved it. Great seats, screen, and sound. Very intimate and a cool theatre in its own right.
Thank You to the BOHM THEATER and its awesome staff that was so very accommodating to Twirlz Dance Studio students and family.
