Profile of Your Architecture Nominee: Mr. Montassar Dhiaf (NAUTILUS) – Tunisia
Mr. Montassar Dhiaf is a distinguished naval architect and marine engineer with an exceptional academic and professional background. He currently serves as President of the Professional Group of Nautical Industries within the CONECT business federation, representing the entire maritime value chain in Tunisia.
Mr. Dhiaf holds a Master Engineer degree in Maritime and Offshore Engineering from the prestigious National School of Advanced Technologies of Brest (ENSTA Bretagne) in France, graduating with first-class honors as part of the inaugural IMANO double diploma program in Ship Design.
He further enhanced his expertise with a DPEA in Naval Architecture from ENSA Paris-La Villette and a National Diploma of Architecture from ENAU in Tunisia, both earned with distinction.
As the founder and CEO of NAUTILUS International, Mr. Dhiaf has spearheaded the firm's success in designing and constructing naval vessels for renowned international shipyards.
His impressive career encompasses key leadership roles, including heading the Studies, Methods, and Projects Office at Universal Marine Business (MB Group) in Tunisia, and managing the Military Department at the Industrial and Naval Construction Company (SCIN). Prior to these roles, he honed his skills as a Simulation Engineer at Siemens Industry Software in France, specializing in civil and military naval applications.
Mr. Dhiaf's expertise extends beyond industry. He has served as the Head Trainer for the MedSkippers Project at the Mediterranean Training Institute for Seafaring Professions and as a lecturer at the UIK School of Architecture. His dedication to excellence is further evidenced by his achievements, including securing second place in the prestigious international Hydrocontest for Green Ships construction in 2016.
His commitment to community extends beyond martial arts, as he has served as General Secretary of the National Organization of School Youth and a member of the Higher Committee of Young Arabs.
