Nous sommes très fiers d’annoncer que DEAR AJAYI, écrit et réalisé par Damilola Orimogunje, sera présenté aux Giornate degli Autori (Venice Days) en septembre prochain !
Damilola a participé à l’atelier Sud Ecriture N°41 avec ce projet, l’histoire de deux sœurs séparées que tout oppose, qui seront réunies suite à une tragédie.

We are very proud to announce that DEAR AJAYI, written and directed by Damilola Orimogunje, will premiere at Giornate degli Autori (Venice Days) in September!
Damilola took part in the Sud Ecriture Workshop No. 41 with this project, the heartfelt story of two sisters estranged by their differences, who will reunite after a tragedy.

La première session de l’atelier Sud Ecriture 44 s’est clôturée mercredi dernier à la résidence artistique de Tilal Utique . Nous tenons à remercier toute l’équipe de la résidence et de la Fondation Kamel Lazaar qui nous ont accueillis chaleureusement et qui ont fait la réussite de cette semaine.
Nous remercions particulièrement Farah Kammoun, pour son écoute et sa bienveillance dans la préparation de l’atelier, Mayssa Betaieb pour sa cuisine délicieuse et généreuse et Deli pour sa serviabilité durant notre séjour.

The first session of the Sud Ecriture workshop 44 came to a close last Wednesday at Tilal Utique 's artistic residency. We would like to thank the entire team at the residency and the Fondation Kamel Lazaar, who gave us such a warm welcome and made this week a success.
We would particularly like to thank Farah Kammoun for her attentiveness and kindness in the preparation of the workshop, Mayssa Betaieb for her delicious and generous cooking, and Farouk for his helpfulness during our stay.

J5 de l’Atelier Sud Ecriture 44 - Session 1 : Le dernier projet dont nous avons discuté était « Soleil Levant » de Mickael-Sltan Mbanza . Ce documentaire plein de poésie nous plonge dans une quête personnelle, un voyage à la fois intérieur et familial où le réalisateur doit faire face à un passé qu’il n’a jamais pu affronter.

Day 5 of the Atelier Sud Ecriture 44 – Session 1: The last project we discussed was « Rising sun » by Mickael Sltan Mbanza. This poetic documentary immerses us in a personal quest, a journey that is both intimate and familial, in which the director must come to terms with a past he has never been able to face.

J4 de l’Atelier Sud Ecriture 44 - Session 1 : Aujourd’hui, c’était le tour de « The Man from Copenhagen », le projet de Nada Al Wabel, de passer au peigne fin. Après un accident de moto en plein désert, un étranger est recueilli par Leila qui vit avec son père et son fils. Sa présence devient un catalyseur des tensions familiales, transformant les dynamiques entre Leila et les hommes qui l’entourent.

Day 4 of the Atelier Sud Ecriture 44 – Session 1: Today, it was the turn of ‘The Man from Copenhagen’, Nada Al Wabel’s project, to be scrutinised. Following a motorbike accident in the middle of the desert, a stranger is taken in by Leila, who lives with her father and son. His presence becomes a catalyst for family tensions, transforming the relationships between Leila and the men around her.

Day 3 of the Atelier Sud Ecriture 44 – Session 1: we analysed Fatima Bathily’s screenplay On the edge, the story of a woman who refuses to mourn her husband, who has set sail for Europe; having heard nothing from him for months, her hope is rekindled by a mysterious phone call in the middle of the night.

« Running with street cats » de Zahra Zuhair était à l’honneur en cette deuxième journée de l’Atelier 44 - Session 1. C’est l’histoire d’une jeune femme divorcée qui reprend le contrôle de sa vie en même temps qu’elle met en lumière un traffic de contrats de travail qui exploite des milliers de Saoudiens en quête d’un emploi digne.

Zahra Zuhair’s “Running with street cats” took the spotlight on the second day of Atelier 44 – Session 1. It is the story of a young divorced woman who regains control of her life whilst exposing a network of labour contract fraud that exploits thousands of Saudis seeking decent employment.
