This is a nonprofit support party for the Copenhagen Queer Festival. We want to build a queer network - both in Malmö but also between Malmö and Copenhagen. A queer space for us is a safe, inclusive space: We are working towards a space without
ableism, ageism, biphobia, CISsexism, fascism, fatphobia, homophobia, islamophob
ia, lookism, panphobia, racism, sexism, transphobia, spiecesism and all other forms of hateful and discriminating behavior. Being queer is not (always) an identity, it’s (also) a way of being. Come and join us for 24 awesome hours of queerness with music, art, crafts, dance workshop, games, Dj'n, discussions, food, movies, hanging out.

In order to make the festival more accessible to queer newcomers/non-Swedish speakers, the main language of the festival will be English. For practical reasons, different workshops will still be held in Swedish and, upon request, be translated. A few PRACTICAL THINGS:

People are able to sleep over, but tell us before so we can arrange it) Children are welcome. We welcome all genders and age groups. Unfortunately we can't allow animals because of allergies. We will hold a vegetarian/vegan festival brunch with gluten- and other allergy-free options / knytkalas on Sunday, between 10.00-13.00. - bring some food! The venue is accessible for wheelchairs but toilets is available with elevator to another floor. If you have any special needs that we may not be mindful about, please let us know! If you have a workshop or other activity in mind that you would like to contribute, feel free to contact us! If you want to help us in cooking/preparing food, setting up the place beforehand and in between activities, want to help setting up the crafts corner, be a safety persons, or a buddy – contact us! We recommend a entrance fee/donation between 50 and 150 SEK. If you cannot afford this, we will find a way and work this out (one possibility being that you become a volunteer.) CONTACT: [email protected]
