Hi everyone,
Following his stand-up performance, Turkish comedian Deniz Göktaş was imprisoned. To show our solidarity and stand against censorship, we are organizing a gathering in Lisbon.
We will watch his banned stand-up special "Ölü Deniz" together and stand in support of freedom of expression.

💰 PAY WHAT YOU WANT. We ask for donations at the end to pay the comedians. The suggested donation is €10/person. Less for students, more for nicely employed people.

😬Don't know anyone? Doesn't matter. Come alone. You'll meet people by the end of the night. It's a friendly place and we're nosy.

Má Língua Live Sessions
Unplugged nights for new voices

We’re starting something new at Má Língua.
Live Sessions is a relaxed, unplugged night focused on emerging artists, good listening, and sharing the room properly.

No big stage, no noise for the sake of it. Just musicians playing close, songs in their early lives, and a space that lets them land.

Tuesday 23rd | From 21:00

On the night:

Nimbus Pallas
A Lisbon-based indie/folk/jazz project led by Brazilian songwriter Nimbus. Songs with space, stories, and moments where things wander a little and come back together.

Bigliardi
Brazilian singer-songwriter living in Portugal. His music moves between jazz, rock, MPB and indie, touching on time, love, leaving, and arriving. He’s currently working on a new album and bringing these songs out into the world.

The show is donation-based.
Come as you are, but please support the artists as much as you can.

If you like discovering musicians early, sitting close, and actually listening, this night is for you.
