The Little Art

The Little Art A non-profit arts education organization, promoting positive social values through arts among children and young people, especially marginalized

We use media arts, film precisely, to teach children and young adults to recognize and begin to understand the social issues pervading their immediate community that prohibit the development of the project's ideas and principals. We produce the Lahore International Children’s Film Festival and Children’s Performing Arts Festival, hold film-making workshops for children and young people, organize workshops in photography, digital art, stop motion, animation and performing arts.

So many colours.
So many stories.
So much talent in one space. ❤️

Still not over the energy, the artworks, the conversations, and the moments that made ArtBeat feel so special.

This wasn’t just an exhibition.
It was a whole vibe.

Public Announcement

The Little Art is transitioning Aangun Center for Learning and Culture to an independent future, with its administration now entrusted to a new management committee. From 1 May 2026, Aangun Center for Learning and Culture will operate independently, including its summer camp and wider programming.

The Little Art will remain institutionally connected only to the Aangun Early Childhood Education (ECE) school, but will no longer be involved in day-to-day operations.
This has been a thoughtful and difficult decision. Opened in April 2022, Aangun was envisioned and built by The Little Art from the ground up as a space for learning, arts, and culture, alongside the development of its Early Childhood Education school in close collaboration with the management committee. Over the years, we have invested deeply in shaping it into what it is today.

As we step away from its management, The Little Art will focus its energies on its core programmes, including ArtBeat, festivals, and the reEarth International Art Prize, while trusting the new team to take Aangun forward into its next chapter.

We move forward with deep respect for all friends who contributed in making Aangun what it has been, and great optimism for what it will become. We wish the new team strength and success, and remain connected in spirit as part of a shared commitment to arts and culture in Lahore, the vision we had for Aangun when we started.

The Little Art and Aangun both continue, onward and upward!
