Featuring our distinguished alumnus and director of Cinemalaya 21's Best Film (Full-Length), Noni Abao (Batch 2012A)!

Noni Abao is a graduate of Film from the University of the Philippines Diliman. He now works as a freelance producer and production manager for films and digital content. His thesis film "Dagami Daytoy" (This is Our Land) won Best Documentary at the 32nd Gawad CCP para sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video and Yale Environment 360, as well as having been screened in international film festivals abroad. In 2019, Noni produced Glenn Barit's debut feature "Cleaners" and Che Tagyamon's short "Judy Free," which both won awards at the QCinema International Film Festival. Currently, he is affiliated with Taripnong - Cagayan Valley, an advocacy network of professionals forwarding the concerns of Region 2.
