WingChun Pangasinan - IAW Philippines WingChun Self-Defense has a Name The International Academy of WingChun (IAW) teaches our students the function and art of Self-Defence at the highest level.

We do not offer the dreams of the soft or passive fighter who tries to defend without power. To live this inconsistent and exceedingly senseless desire, there are countless other associations to consider. Either you can be soft and passive or you can be truly capable of defending yourself. Both together are de facto not possible. I can guarantee you this after 43 years of martial arts experience.

Self-Defence is a challenge to practice but also a pleasure to train. To feel strong is indeed a great feeling. For many people, it has become difficult to choose a realistic martial art in this virtual age of video games and animated films. We can help. Mangaldan / Philippines - 5 September '15

Our first training day in Mangaldan. Together with Sifu Ralph Dahl and Sihing Alfredo Terlizzi I had a very nice start here at the Philippines. Our new WingChun students trained pretty hart and understood the basic functions quickly. It was a pleasure to have four training hours together with those enthusiastic students.
