You may have noticed that some of the BIG movies on their way sometimes don't start at MTC - Mercury Twin Cinemas - Whitianga until a couple of weeks later. This can be for a couple of reasons:

* We only have 2 screens, and we just don't have enough room!
*Owners of the movie may have expectations on how many times a day a movie needs to be shown from opening - and our audience is not big enough for us to commit to that.
