The Wellington Public Cinema is a free to attend short film festival, dedicated to showcasing the wide variety of emerging filmmaking talent in the Wellington community. Our programme consists of a large selection of short films, created by local students and up-and-coming independent filmmakers. We aim to provide a platform that promotes local work, regardless of production value, giving a chance

for smaller budget filmmakers to have their work seen by the wider public. Come along, meet some likeminded people and plan your next project!
