A movie based on a true story about the 1996 Mt Everest disaster involving kiwi guide, Rob Hall.

Tonight is the first night of the New Zealand Mountain Film Festival, brought to you by Land Search and Rescue New Zealand.

We’re looking forward to a great evening of films, including the much-anticipated 100 Days in Fiordland, all while raising funds for the incredible work LandSAR does in our community.

You may also spot a camera crew around tonight doing a bit of filming and chatting to people about independent cinemas-so don’t be surprised if you end up on camera!
