Looking for reliable help to get your garden back under control?

Jack’s Barrow provides professional residential garden and lawn maintenance across Christchurch, from Lyttelton, Sumner, Redcliffs and Mt Pleasant through Ferrymead, the central city and surrounding suburbs.

Our services include garden tidy-ups, ongoing maintenance, hedge and shrub pruning, lawn mowing, w**ding, planting, garden improvements and green-waste removal.

We are a small, carefully selected team working together under the Jack’s Barrow banner. Each job is matched with the right skills and experience to deliver the tailored result our clients want, both now and over the long term.

Captain Cam personally inspects new jobs, prepares the estimate and oversees the work from start to finish.

Sumner, Redcliffs and Mt Pleasant homeowners, now is a good time to deal with dense hedges, scale, sooty mould and fungal problems before spring growth makes them harder to reach.

Winter is ideal for thinning crowded hedges and shrubs, improving airflow and light, removing damaged or diseased growth, and treating pest and fungal issues before fresh growth takes off.

It’s been a while since the last post. That’s because we’ve been busy on the tools.

Jack’s Barrow is a local, owner-operated garden and lawn care business, focused on doing the job properly and leaving things better than we found them.

What we do:
• Hedge trimming and shaping (formal and large boundary hedges)
• Tree and rose pruning
• Spraying for pathogen infections, plant health, and w**d control
• New plantings and garden renovations
• Lawn mowing, edging, and green waste removal

No rushed work. No hack jobs. If something needs attention, we’ll explain why. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you that too.
