It all began at the beloved amateur theatre Peninsula Players in Whangaparaoa, on New Zealand’s stunning Hibiscus Coast. For over a decade, Gary took center stage in lead roles in musicals and pantomimes, dazzling
audiences with his versatility in productions like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (as Asher), Oklahoma! (as Curly), Hello Dolly (as Barnaby), and Annie (as the unforgettable Rooster). He also brought his sharp wit and spontaneity to countless improv nights, quickly earning a reputation as a standout performer. But Gary’s talents didn’t stop at the theatre doors. With a natural flair for the screen, he appeared in a variety of TV commercials, soap operas, and even game shows. In 1985, he took a bold leap and moved to the USA, where he honed his craft at an acting course in Hollywood. That experience launched him into an exciting 1988 tour across America – starring as none other than the iconic Crocodile Dundee. Then came the role that would make him an international sensation. Since the year 2000, Gary has become the one and only authorised Austin Powers impersonator in the world, officially recognised by Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema. That’s right, baby! Whether he's grooving on stage, belting out classic ‘60s hits, or charming guests at elite events, Gary as Austin Powers is the real deal – and he brings the mojo every single time. With hundreds of performances under his belt and audiences ranging from intimate gatherings of 20 to massive crowds of 30,000, Gary continues to electrify venues worldwide.
