Something like a Film Festival Sporadically organised non competitive film festival of young, amateur cinema at the Kathmandu Film Center. Submissions for the 2023 season is now open.

Something like a film festival, is a Film and Multidisciplinary media festival held in Nepal at several locations. The festival has its roots as weekly screenings of amateur/ non mainstream films in Kathmandu held in 2009. Initiated by Documentary Open School, SLFF has a focus on documentary film literacy and engagement with documentary cinema of Nepal and South Asia. Festivals will be held in the

cities of Dhangadhi, Biratnagar, Kathmandu, Dhaka and Shillong. APPLY via the slffest.wordpress.com website
