Den norske Blue Shield-komiteen (BSN) er Norges nasjonale komité for The Blue Shield, etablert for å beskytte kulturarv under væpnede konflikter og katastrofer. International Blue Shield ble dannet i 1996 som et samarbeid mellom fire UNESCO-kulturorganisasjonene ICA, IFLA, ICOM, ICOMOS.

Navnet og refererer til det blå skjoldet, symbolet for Haagkonvensjonen av 1954, kulturens Røde kors! BSN ble stiftet 23. august 2000 og har som mål å samle og spre informasjon, samordne innsats og påvirke myndigheter og fagmiljøer for å ivareta kulturarven i tilfelle krig og krise. Den har blant annet arbeidet for en nasjonal beredskapsplan for kulturarv og oppfordret norske myndigheter til å ratifisere internasjonale avtaler som UNESCO-konvensjonen av 1970 og Haagkonvensjonens annen protokoll.

Nasjonalmuseet har vært en samarbeidspartner med Piql og AWA over flere år.
